The interior of the bar draws inspiration from the city's rich brewing legacy. The historic Vaux Brewery, which once commanded the skyline across from Keel Square, influences the ambiance. The beer selection pays homage to Vaux and Maxim, showcasing their brews.

Elements reminiscent of brewing are tastefully incorporated, such as barrel features, including a sculpture crafted by Ray Lonsdale, the artist behind the nearby Vaux statue. The space is adorned with expansive lighting fixtures shaped like brewing stills, a distinctive hops logo, and dried hops displayed on the walls.

The bar specialises in craft beer, offering a selection from 18 beer taps and six hand pulls, with 12 of the beers rotating regularly. In addition to craft beers, the bar also provides a variety of spirits and wines.
